एक फ़क़ीर दरिया के किनारे बैठा था...... 

किसी ने पुछा बाबा यहाँ बैठे  किया कर रहे हो फ़क़ीर ने जवाब दिया के इंतज़ार कर रहा हूँ के पूरा दरिया बह जाए तो पार हो जाऊँ, 

उस आदमी ने कहा बाबा कैसी बात कर रहे पूरा दरिया बहने के इंतज़ार में तो आप कभी भी दरिया पार नहीं कर सकते, फ़क़ीर ने कहा यही तो मैं लोगों को समझाना चाहता हूँ, लोग जो जो हमेशा ये कहते रहते हैं के एक बार घर बन जाये ज़िम्मेदारियाँ पूरी हो जाएँ तो नमाज़ पढूंगा दाढ़ी रखूँगा हज करूँगा पूरे रोज़े रखा करूँगा, लोगों की खिदमत करूँगा सदक़ा ज़कात दिया करूँगा, 

जैसे दरिया का पानी कभी खत्म नहीं होगा हमें इसी बहते दरिया से पार जाने का रास्ता तलाश करना पड़ेगा, इसी तरह इंसान कब्र में चला जायेगा लेकिन ज़िम्मेदारियाँ खत्म नहीं होंगी, हमें इन्ही ज़िम्मेदरियों को निभाते हुवे अल्लाह की तरफ रुजू होना होना होगा अल्लाह के हुक्मों को पूरा करना होगा,     

A fakir was sitting on the bank of the river.

Someone asked Baba, what are you doing sitting here, the fakir replied that I am waiting for the whole river to flow so that I can cross.

The man said Baba, what are you talking about, you can never cross the river waiting for the whole river to flow, Fakir said, this is what I want to explain to the people, people who always keep saying that build a house once. When the responsibilities are fulfilled, I will read Namaz, keep beard, perform Hajj, observe fasts, serve people, give charity, give Zakat,

As the water of the river will never end, we have to find a way to cross this flowing river, similarly, man will go to the grave but the responsibilities will not end, we have to turn towards Allah while fulfilling these responsibilities. have to fulfill,
